Injury Assessment and Management: By discussing your symptoms and performing some special tests we aim to diagnose the source of pain. From that diagnosis we can plan an individual injury management programme.
1-2-1 Exercise Classes: Personal training sessions which will help to reduce pain whilst improving your strength and fitness.
Manual Therapy: We use various Sports Massage techniques and Maitlands mobilisations to help reduce stress and tension which can alleviate pain and improve function.
Weight Loss Programmes: No gimmicks. No fad diets. We provide well researched techniques to help you lose weight safely, sustainably and healthily. By talking about your current lifestyle we can work together to help you achieve your target weight.
Training Programmes: Whether your goal is to run, lift weights or just improve your fitness - we can provide tailored training programmes to help you reach your goal.
GP Referral Letters: If after our assessment we feel like you need further medical investigations such as a GP check up or imaging (X-Ray or MRI for example) then we can send a letter to your GP Practice. In addition to GP letters, we will never be shy at MPTUK to refer you to specialists if we deem it necessary. We want you to get better and if we feel like someone could do a better job than us then we will refer you to them.
Post Operative Care: We can help manage your return to activity / sport all the way from pre/post op to return to play. This includes (but is not limited to) fractures and ligament ruptures.
Special Conditions: MPTUK is capable to help manage other medical conditions that are not just related to sport. Again, this includes (but is not limited to) T1 and T2 Diabetes, Obesity, Arthritis, Osteoporosis and Cerebral Palsy.
